History:
Rose lived a pretty normal life. She had four other sisters and no brothers, much to her father's dismay. But to his delight, she had no problem getting lined up for marriages. The problem was that she didn't want to marry any of the men who offered her proposals. As she told her mother, "They're all just old, ugly men wanting me in their bed so that they can be sure their own kids are half as beautiful as me." Unfortunately for her parents, they couldn't deny her statement. So they politely turned down all the proposals on her behalf. Naturally, the proposing men wanted a reason, so Rose claimed that she decided to live her life chaste. That didn't go over well, but if a woman wanted to remain chaste and her father was willing to let her, then there was no argument. So she lived the next few years happily waving at all of the rejected men. That all ended, however, when she was coming home from a dance. She stumbled onto a fight and, before she could even try to run away, the men spotted her. One of them she recognized as one of the men she refused. But the other was someone she'd never seen before – and that's saying something. Rose prided herself on knowing everyone in town. Obviously the fight was not in the would-be-husband's favor. He cried out to Rose, screaming for help. She just stood their, gawking at them as the new man turned his gaze from the screaming man to Rose. He grinned; in his eyes, Rose was the obvious choice of prey. The man she knew, whose name she was fairly certain was George, staggered to his feet and lunged at the new man, obviously realizing what the new man's intent was. A violent fight erupted and Rose somehow got caught up in the middle of it, trying her best not to get beaten up by the two raging men. By the end, all three were beaten and bloody. George was dead and the new man was limping off, obviously wanting nothing to do with either of them anymore. Rose felt light-headed and passed out – or at least she thought she passed out. Two days later she woke up in a grave. The first few years were the toughest as she tried to get used to the bloodlust she'd get every now and then. Her favorite experience in those first few years was when she bumped into a guy named William. He couldn't help but gawk at how beautiful she was. She teased him about it – calling him a cheating, married man. But he ignored her taunts. He even did a character in her fashion. But Rose was still in the early years of her vampiracy, and she couldn't control her hunger as well as she can now. So, before she could do anything to hurt him, she left. Only after the centuries slipped by could she see how this man became famous. Eventually there was no place you could go where you couldn't say William Shakespeare without having people know who he was. The rest of the years just slipped by for Rose. She always kept up with the latest fashions and always liked trying out new things. She's been to nearly every club worth going to in the last four centuries and she's tried her hand at several different lifestyles. Rose even gave school a try. She aced history – having lived through most of the events – and the Shakespeare portion of English was a breeze (especially whenever Rosaline was brought up from Romeo & Juliet). She could have lived without math, but besides that, she had fun with her life. Making friends was never a problem for Rose – all you have to do is make sure that they never figure out that you're a vampire and you're golden. Of course, after a few years they might notice that you haven't aged, so regular moves become a requirement. Rose has slid through the centuries without any real problems, and has managed to blend in with society quite nicely.
Personality Extra: (try to ignore all the she's at the beginnings of the sentences – I'll edit it later)
Rose is a witty teenager. She loves fashion and has kept up with the latest trends over the centuries. She has a thing for Shakespeare – mainly because she actually knew the guy. She loves being around other people and will go to extremes to make sure she doesn't stick herself in some sort of solitude. She either hangs out in cities (where there's bound to be other night-people) or in really cloudy towns. She prefers the cities – despite the fact that having all the people around is tempting. She's a natural at getting friends and has had numerous best friends over the years – most of them your average-day human. She's been acquaintances with a couple of other vampires here and there, but nothing really stuck. As far as they're concerned, she's just weird. Rose loves parties – and it's not all that rare to catch her at one.
